Our baby Gwen (1 y.o.) was so happy to be able to see the chickens & hear the cows & touch the horses & play with the dogs & pet the cat.
Paola is a true gourmet chef who made every meal perfectly delish. mmm.. Spinach Flan!
We still talk about our trip to the reef w/ Capt. Bing Crosby: he has great knowledge of the ocean flora.

A wonderful time was had by all!

Hi again,
I am wondering if my boyfriend and I should begin anti-malarial drugs. What are most of your European/Canadian/American visitors doing for health precautions?
Thanks.
Bridget
    Paola's Reply: Hi Bridget,
There are no major health problems in this part of Nicaragua. As in other tropical areas, on rare occasion, there have been malaria-carrying mosquitoes, generally in the summer months. This malaria variety is successfully dealt with Chloroquin. Many seasoned travelers take a malaria preventative whenever traveling in the tropics.
Hope this helps,
Paola

Dear Bing and Paola,
This was our honeymoon and how dreamy it was! Morning swim or snorkel, followed by lazy in hammock on the veranda of our very own creole home. Afternoons spent fishing with Bing, snorkelling with eagle rays or picking up shells for necklace on the beach are stuff of holiday fantasies we have not imagine. This heaven was very special and hope we´ll be back when baby Georgie is born.

We have just returned from Farm Peace and Love after being there for six weeks and our second year there. We enjoyed our stay again and feel fortunate to have discovered this real
treasure.

The garden is just getting more beautiful every year and neat to have the rosters, chickens and for sure the dogs. Its nice to just swim our and snorkele to a neat reef and Garry can fly fish from the beach for Bone Fish and meet such neat tourists passing by on this beautiful beach.

You can drink the most delicious water right from the tap and admire Bings genius inventions, he can fix anything and Paola good Italian cooking in the restorant. Our dream is to return next year.

Our expectations were far exceeded by the reality of Farm Peace & Love. A charming slice of island living with delicious italian cuisine. Sun and palms over the head and sand and sea at your feet. Glorious solitude ! Jonathan Lewis and Betsy Armour - Rhode Island - USA

I am always looking for out of the way peaceful vacation spots and have found the perfect spot here at Farm Peace and Love. My brother and I stayed in the cottage for a week and were delighted to have fresh organic eggs, bananas, papaya, coconut, breadfruit, limes, starfruit (to name a few!) freshly picked and left under the hammock on the deck for our breakfast.
They also made coconut bread and starfruit jelly. It was safe, quiet (no roads, no motorized vehicles), beautiful weather, interesting people, fabulous lobster dinners in town, snorkeling, horseback riding... Bing and Paola were friendly and helpful. I loved having them show me around the farm and explain about the various fruits and vegetables they raise. If you are looking for peace and quiet, and a nightlife consisting of watching the stars and listening to the lapping of the ocean waves, this is a perfect vacation.

" Christian Camerlyack - France - 31.01.08
